Püchner Bassoon Crooks
|
|
Besides the traditional thin-walled
crooks (such as MD, BD and ED), Püchner
manufactures thick-walled crooks of three
differing kinds:
|
– silver plated German silver,
– solid Sterling Silver as well as
– silver plated brass.
|
|
Some of the features of Püchner –
crooks are their wide range of dynamics, their dark
but glimmering sound qualities, and their perfect
intonation.
|
|
Different materials and models vary in regard to
colour of sound and resistance provided and thus
offer the player the opportunity of finding a crook
matching their individual parameters and ideals.
|
Püchner also manufacture bocals in special
bends, especially in straighter bends thus enabling
even tall players to play comfortably. These
straight bend bocals offer anatomically an
advantageous angle for playing as well as sufficient
distance between reed and fingering system.
